Hello, I’m Nancy Ellingsen, and I’ve been a part of the Nicola Valley community since I was twelve years old. Over the past decade, I’ve found fulfillment in volunteering with the Arts Council. While I may not be a regular fixture at meetings, I take pride in rolling up my sleeves and getting the job done whenever the council needs an extra hand. Whether it’s cleaning, painting walls, or tackling light construction projects, I’m always ready to lend a hand.
My artistic journey has led me to explore various mediums, from pottery to mosaics, but I find solace and joy in working with acrylics due to their quick-drying nature. The Arts Council is home to a wonderful community of dedicated volunteers, and I encourage anyone with a passion for the arts to join us in making a difference.
