To register for one of our classes, click on the registration button for each class. This will take you to a Google Form to be completed. Once you complete and submit the form you will receive an email with a payment link for online payment. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive the email. Fun art and craft activities! We might get messy, so we have shirts here at the Arts Centre Studio. 

Who: Children, ages 7-12; maximum 10 students per class

When: Wednesdays, 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Cost: $20 per class (3-4 classes per session), includes craft supplies

An introduction from Heather:

My name is Heather Klassen Grismer, and I am excited to be teaching the Crafty Kids Program at Nicola Valley Art Council this year.  Art has always been a big part of my life, and it all stemmed from my mother and her encouragement as a child to be playful and creative with the materials that you have in your hands.  This could be a beach filled with rocks, shells, and driftwood, to a blank piece of newsprint and a piece of charcoal.  She taught me that art is there to create everywhere you choose, and the greatest joy is found in the process of creating it.  I am looking forward to creating a space where kids can explore and experience different mediums while learning about some basic foundations of art along the way.
