The Gallery and Artisan Gift Shop is one open space and the focal point of the Nicola Valley Arts Centre. Powered by creative energy and a passion for making a difference in the community, this non-profit organization is operated by the Nicola Valley Community Arts Council. 

Curious about the Arts?  The original art exhibits are gushing with local talent and originality. The gift shop is where you'll discover exquisite, bespoke creations that reflect the local region's talent.

Drop in and visit us Wednesdays to Saturdays, from 11am to 6pm, and on Sundays, 12pm to 4pm.

Jun 30-Aug 1, 2021: 

"BODY ART: Living Art of Tattoo & Body Adornment"

NVCAC is showing off a summer body of art!

Featuring local tattoo artists, Brian Wheeler from Sin on Skin Tattoos and Marco Merulla from Mom’s Tattoos  

showing their body of work including designs, photos, process, and their tools of the craft.  

The Body Art exhibit will also include makeup artists, henna artists, avant-garde hair stylists. Local business owner and creative, Colleen Waddell of Double Take Beauty will display her airbrush body painting. Stunning and intriguing photography of the genre as well as unique art pieces will push the boundaries of body adornment and the physical aesthetic. 

RECEPTION: Friday, July 2, 2021 from 4pm - 7pm

Aug 4-Sept 5, 2021: "The Art of Clothing"

Love creative fashion? Are you a screen printer, sewer, beader, crocheter? We're inviting local creatives to get ready for the gallery show that is all about the art of what we wear.   The collection for this show is being determined. Inquire with Jano at the Arts Centre's gallery.

A vibrant and hopeful collection of paintings, mosaics, and pottery from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Clubhouse group. The group of artists gathered a few days a week at the Nicola Valley Arts Centre studio through our Forging Connections program.

LOOKING FORWARD NOW!  Quilts, paintings, felted pieces, and mosaics, all crafted by local artists Cindilla Trent and Kim Leclair.
